AONSCÉAL is an an integrated awareness campaign aiming to reignite a love for the Irish language in the young people of Ireland, encouraging them to speak Irish after they complete school and continue to do so into adulthood.
Throughout this campaign, emphasis has been placed on speaking the language casually and freely, not to be restricted by fear of the formalities we may have associated with it from school.
The campaign continues on the AONSCÉAL app, an online community for those looking to immerse themselves in the language. The app lists Irish language events, from live gigs to picnics in the park and features content from Irish-speaking creators.
