The Third Place: Our Search for Social Spaces, is a print publication which explores Ireland’s changing relationship with third places, providing an uplifting commentary on the positives of our new habits, whilst also touching on the nostalgia we hold for our old traditions.
With home and work defined as our first and second space, third places are the environments which we go to in search of connection and recreation. In the past, these spaces were typically pubs. However, the rising price of alcohol and our shift towards more wellness-based activities has meant that we have had to look elsewhere for this sense of escape, community and release.
